History
TJH Motorsport was founded at the start of the 1994 rally season
by Tim Hookway. During the previous three years, Tim had worked at Skip Brown Cars near
Chester, gaining valuable experience in the preparation of cars for rallying at International
level.
Since the end of 1999, TJH Motorsport has become a leading motorsport preparation company
and has recently moved to brand new premises in Barnstaple, Devon.
All aspects of Race and Rally car builds and preparation can be offered, anything from bolt
on tuning and performance modifications to complete car builds, service and on-event support.
Many modified parts in stock for Peugeot and Honda.
In June 2005, TJH built and prepared a Honda Civic for the Britcar Championship. It wasn’t
very long before success bred success and TJH were leaving all their competitors behind.
The first win at Oulton Park was just the start.
The following season, we demolished all our competitors by winning all but one event we
entered. The end of the year 24hr race at Silverstone concluded with an outstanding 7th
overall and Production S1 Class Win.
In 2007 Paul Collis took ownership of the Honda Civic and the preparation and teamwork
within the team triumphed to yet another fantastic year.
Paul, never having raced before, teamed up with Simon Mason and continued to use TJH
Motorsport to run the car. Not a bad decision obviously, as we took wins in Spa, Brands
Hatch, Castle Combe and Silverstone.
